Drink Your Greens Margarita

A twist on a classic margarita with the addition of a freshly pressed green juice.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz tequila*
  • 4 oz lime juice*
  • 5 oz cold pressed green juice*
  • 1 oz agave
  • 1 pinch sea salt*
  • Garnish lime wheel

Instructions
 

  • Add tequila, lime juice, fresh pressed green juice, agave, and a pinch of flakey salt to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until mixed and well chilled.
  • Strain into a cocktail glass over ice.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel.

Notes

*Recommend silver tequila for this recipe as it pairs better with this flavour profile. 
*To save time juicing limes just use bottled 100% lime juice. Recommend using Santa Cruz 100% Lime Juice
*The cold pressed green juice used for this recipe contained cucumber, apple, celery, spinach, kale, lemon, and ginger.
*Recommend using a flakey sea salt for this, such as, Maldon
